My Christmas lights are up and shining. Most of them anyway. I have one section that didn't light upon my icycles. I know the problem but it's too damned cold out there to fix it tonight. Will work on it in the morning.

Not much to say. Had too much turkey and dressing. And way too much nanner puddin. My mom makes the bestest in the whole world. Outside of my niece and her tattling every second, it was a good day. My 22 month old emptied her entire plate of turkey with most of the fixins in about half the time it took my niece to eat 2and a half devilled eggs and start whining that she was full. She always takes at least an hour or more to eat anything.  But I'm not gettin into that. It's my brother's problem.

It rained all week so I haven't finished my lights display yet. I worked on it today. I got a long way to go if I wanna have it complete before tomorrow night. I will at least have something to light up if I can't finish. The tree is not going to be decorated anyway. Sherry has to work the BLITZ sale at Wally World so she's gonna be too tired to do it tomorrow. But the lights will be on it. ( It's a pre-lit artificial)

Had my first day as a merchandiser. I guess I should say half day. There was nothing actually scheduled for this week, so I went around with the girl I'm replacing to all the stores and introduced myself and did some of the things that were supposed to be done last week. Since I didn't get hired til Friday, I'm not really responsible for that, we just went through the motions so I could see what was expected. It was fun. Don't have anything else til next week and the I will be on a regular routine. Holidays kinda screw things up. At least I will have a small paycheck in a couple of weeks. Just in time to get the wife's layaway out. And no I am not saying what it is cause she is standing over my shoulder at this moment. And she reads all my blogs. That's all for now. See Ya.

I just read about the melee in the pro basketball game Friday night. While I don't condone what was done by the players, I can certainly see where it came from. These days fans seem to feel that they do anything they want and nothing will be done about it. Not only that, but because of the way laws are now if the player does retaliate in any way, the fan will be able to sue the player and the league and will most likely get a large settlement. That player had no right to go into stands. It was inexcusable. A professional athlete must hold himself above the petty viciousness he runs into in some stadiums these days. That still does not condone what the "ONE" fan did to start the whole thing. Players cannot perform properly without a high level of adrenaline so when they are under so much stress and something happens on the court to make them angry the next event could be the one that sets them off. In this case , a thrown cup. Fans need to remember that the players are there to entertain them and should NOT in any way become involved with the events on the court.

Gonna try this again. Tried to post earlier today. Got about half my paragraph done and my puter froze.    & nbsp;    Bowled in Sherry's place today cause she hurt her leg at work the other night and it was bruised pretty bad.  Didn't do too bad, 221, 190, and 188 for a 599 series. Messed up on the second throw of the 10th frame. After putting 3 strikes together , my second roll was a 7 count. I needed a 9 count to break 600. Last week I had a 600 even and I was trying to do better. Since I'm just subbing I won't get any awards this year, But , I do have to bowl 21 games in order to qualify for any tournaments. My team won the city tournament last year and we want to do it again.

Sherry just left for work and the kids are asleep think I'll go have some ice cream.  See ya.

Nothing going on at all.  Stayed up late last night watching election results.  Was about 50/50 on the things I voted for here in Arkansas.  Course we haven't lived in this town long and this is the first election since we got here cept for the primaries. One of the guys I used to work with was running for county judge, but, he lost in the primary. Locally I really didn't know who was the best choice in any of the races. I did well on the state amendments, though. I voted across the board the way it turned out. The main thing is that I voted and I now have a legal right to bitch if things don't go right.

It rained again off and on all day so I didn't accomplish anything outside. When it finally quits it looks like I'm gonna have to mow one more time. The grass was up over my ankles when I went to the mailbox today. I really need to clean my gutters but it won't quit raining long enough for me to do them. If I don't get to them, the ice this winter is liable to pull them off the roof. That's bout all I got for today. Boring huh.  See ya!!

Yuck!! It's 5 in the morning and I'm awake. I just spent the last 20 minutes calming my daughter down. I guess she had a bad dream or something. She woke me up sreaming her head off. I brought her to my and held her for a few minutes then took her back to bed. She's already asleep. I finally get her little brother to sleep all night and now I'm awake early again. Sometimes I think that i am not meant to get a full night's sleep.
